Colour fun in the hammock? Play Huedoku!
If you are trying to relax in the hammock, but can´t stop fiddling with your smart phone, well, then do something both fun and useful: download Houdoku or SameSameOrDifferent. You will be surprised how difficult it is. AND fun!
Additionally you might want to go to http://colorisrelative.com/ – created by the same guy, Gabe Mott – to get explanations and facts on all the magic of color. Recommended!
Here is an example. Look at the 32 poles in these 2 pictures
Backgrounds are clearly different, one is blue and one is yellow. But what about the poles? What do you think? Are they yellow or blue? Are they the same or different?
Well, actually, giving them a neutral background, this is what they look like: They are the same in the two pictures and they are neither all blue, nor all yellow…..
So. if you are in the hammock, or wherever you are, we hope you will enjoy your summer. Having fun with color and with all the rest that life can bring.

Melbourne: don´t miss Chromatopia exibition on colour!
On May 31, a wonderful exibition will open in Melbourne, Australia: Chromatopia. Wish we could be there to see it. This text, describing the exibition is promising:
This voyage of discovery features pigments made from deadly metals, poisonous minerals, bodily waste, crushed insects and predatory sea snails. Colours dug simply from the ground beneath us, others so expensive that only kings and popes could afford them.
Within the exhibition, see the living process of historical colour manufacture in action.
Also featured is the new world of strange modern colours that only reveal themselves when touched, are invisible in sunlight or shine in the dark.”Do, at least, have a look at their site. http://chromatopia.org/ . Lovely pictures, lovely pieces of info!

Who loves colour?
In a survey in our recent crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, we asked our backers about their interest for Kolormondo. And it is amazing how many kinds of backgrounds their are, that leads to colour… we have interior designers, photograpers, scientists, art teachers, polymer clay artists, hair stylists, jewelry designers, yarn producers and many others among our backers. And they will be the first to receive the new Kolormondo Pro.
We are now assembling the products in their packaging and will soon be sending them out to Australia, Canada,Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia,South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA
